Just kinda figuring this out, so this deck is not gonna be playable for a while. This is a deck about a local theatre named after the actor Zachary Scott. More specifically, about its Performing Arts School's homeschooler theatre classes. Because of this, there will be a lot of references that most people won't get. I apologize for this. To compensate, simply change the cards that reference Zach Scott specific people or things to something more general. (e.g., "Director: Kristen" becomes "Forgiving Director", "Haley and Tyler" becomes "Music/Dance Tutoring", etc.)

Special Rules


Out of the players who have their Scripts completely Memorized, the person who has the most Performance Skill points at the end of the game wins!


Each player starts out with a Script of 10 pages. The pages can be represented by tokens, playing cards, actual pieces of paper, or - if you trust your friends - kept track of mentally. When a page is "Memorized" the token is put aside (though it might be picked back up later).


Aside from the usual, setup includes this:

  • Separating the Skills cards into their respective categories, shuffling said categories individually and putting them aside, face down, in seperate stacks. (Mark the backs with category names so that you know which stack is which.)
  • Giving each player a "script".
  • Deciding upon the length of the Semester (game) in Class Days (rounds), a Class Day being one turn for each player. I think 30-40 would be reasonable, depending on how fast people play. Any less and you'll need to change the length of the Scripts, or set the Deadline as the last Class Day (see next step).
  • Setting the Deadline (specific Class Day) by which the Scripts must be Memorized. I'd say by the 20th for a 30-40 round game.

Skills Cards

Skills cards are in different theatre-related categories (Comedy, Drama, Music/Dance, and General), and have random point values - in multiples of ten - that cound toward your score. Once obtained through whatever means, they are taken from their category stack (specified by the card used to obtain them) immediately placed in front of the player who obtained them, where they remain until another card removes them or the game ends, whichever comes first. When a player obtains a Skill card of which he already has one of the same kind, it is placed on top of said matching card in a way that you can see the point values of all cards of that type. Some cards require a certain amount of a specific Skill to be played.
