Card List

Rincewind
Thing - Character
If a Thing you control is targeted by an Action, you may instead destroy this card to nullify said Action.
Many people who had got to know Rincewind had come to treat him as a sort of two-legged miner's canary, and tended to assume that if Rincewind was still upright and not actually running then some hope remained.
Tiffany Aching
Thing - Character
Whoever controls this card has a hand size of 7.
Land under wave.
Granny Weatherwax
Thing - Character
Choose an opponent. Each turn, instead of playing an Action, you may select an Action from their hand and play it.
Granny Weatherwax didn't hold with looking at the future, but now she could feel the future looking at her. She didn't like its expression at all.
Archchancellor Ridcully
Thing - Character
Place three counters on this card. Any time an Action ability would target a Thing you control, destroy a counter to negate its effect.
Ridcully was simple-minded. This doesn't mean stupid. It just means that he could only think properly about things if he cut away all the complicated bits around the edges.
Hex
Thing
Action: Put a Thing from the discard pile in play in front of you, but only if it is smaller than 14.14 cubic inches and it is not pink. Place a counter on it each turn it is in play. If this Thing ever holds 14 counters, it is destroyed.
Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.
The Disc
Thing - Location
All player's hand sizes are increased by one.
The Discworld, which is flat and rides on the back of four giant elephants who stand on the shell of the enormous star turtle Great A'Tuin, and which is bounded by a waterfall that cascades endlessly into space.
The Great A'Tuin
Thing
This Thing's Action ability may only be used once every eight turns. Action: Destroy all things besides this one.
The only turtle ever to feature on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram.
Distorting L-Space
Action
Reshuffle the discard pile into the draw pile, and start a new discard pile with this card.
Ankh-Morpork
Thing - Location
Anyone may use this card's Action ability. Action: Steal a Thing.
The interests of Ankh-Morpork are the interests of all money-lov — oops, sorry, all "freedom"-loving people everywhere.
Lord Vetinari
Thing - Character
Action: Use the Action ability of a Thing under control of an opponent. The Thing's controller makes any required decisions.
Ankh-Morpork had dallied with many forms of government and had ended up with that form of democracy known as One Man, One Vote. The Patrician was the Man; he had the Vote.
Commander Samuel Vimes
Thing - Character (Watchman)
Action: Destroy a Thing under the control of an opponent who also controls a member of the Watch.
Vimes's grin was as funny as the one that moves very fast towards drowning men. And has a fin on top.
Threat to the City
Action
Take control of all Watchmen in play, then destroy one of them.
Vimes pulled out his truncheon. "At 'em, lads," he yelled. "Truncheons! Nothing fancy! Bop 'em on the fingers and let gravity do the work! They're goin' down."
Lady Sybil Ramkin
Thing - Character
Action: Draw three cards and play any Things out of the three, and then discard the rest. Draw an extra if you control Sam Vimes.
Lady Ramkin's bosom rose and fell like an empire.
The Unseen University Library
Thing - Location
All players must play with their hands visible to all.
Knowledge = Power = Energy = Matter = Mass. A library is just a genteel black hole that can read.
Ponder Stibbons
Thing - Character
Each turn, you may play an extra Action.
"Why only eleven dimensions?" "We don't know," said Ponder. "It might be simply that more would be silly."

Action: Pick a random card from the hand of the player on your left and play it.
Motto: "You can get beaten"

Thing - Character
None of your character Things may be destroyed.
